Governor Tate Reeves and the state Legislature established the Back to Business Mississippi grant program to help small businesses recover from the economic impact of COVID-19.
Businesses with fewer than 50 employees are eligible for grants up to $25,000. Of the $240 million available, $40 million has been designated for minority-owned businesses.
The Mississippi Development Authority has set up a website, https://www.backtobusinessms.org/ where small business owners can apply. The site also features step-by-step instructions on filling out the application, rules and regulations, required documents and FAQs.
If you have questions, you can send an email to backtobusinessms.org.
